Health and Wellbeing
The organisations below can all provide help, advice, support and a listening ear. Remember colleagues, friends and supervisors will also support you if you choose to discuss your feelings.
Phone 111 for free if you think you need A&E but it’s not life or limb threatening. The 111 service can also help if you’re in mental health distress, or your GP practice, pharmacy, or dental practice is closed.
The National Wellbeing Hub helps support the wellbeing of everyone working in Health and Social Care in Scotland. If you’d like to speak to someone confidentially about your mental wellbeing, please phone the National Wellbeing Helpline on 0800 111 4191.
Sometimes our thoughts and feelings can overwhelm us. It helps to get some Breathing Space. Pick up the phone - we're here to listen. Call free on 0800 83 85 87.
Whatever you're going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. We're here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 116 123 for free.
