NES Healthcare Science: A Year in Review 2024–2025
Our latest Year in Review 2024-2025 is now published, capturing the momentum, milestones and meaningful impact of our work across Healthcare Science in Scotland.
This year reflects:
- Our progress in developing inclusive career pathways, including the Level 2–4 framework and new commissions for Level 5–9.
- The success of our Trainee Clinical Scientist programme, with 23 posts supported and 160 trainees tracked through quality assurance.
- Our commitment to education and workforce development, from mapping degrees to IBMS standards to expanding genomics leadership.
- Our continued collaboration with the Scottish Government, stakeholders and services to shape the future of HCS.
